In this culminating task, students will consolidate their learning around identity, migration, and their ethnocultural community’s contributions to Canadian society through an arts-based activity called, “The Jeepney Project”. A jeepney is an American military jeep retrofitted as a form of public transportation in the Philippines. The jeepney is not only a colourful and flamboyantly decorated vehicle, but it is also a symbol of cultural fluidity, adaptation, and the different routes that we all take as global citizens as we move through the world.
